BACKGROUND
BixBox is designed as a B2B marketplace connecting business buyers with suppliers of carton boxes, offset packaging and kraft paper materials.
Packaging procurement often begins with a technical brief and continues through quotation, sampling and production approval. The platform brings these activities into a connected buying journey.
BRIEF
Kemana's BixBox solution design brings packaging procurement into a digital marketplace. It connects a buyer's requirements with supplier quotations and supports the purchasing journey through samples, print proofs and staged deliveries. Business credit, financing and merchant settlement extend the experience to the commercial needs of B2B trade.
GOALS
Create a purchasing experience that reflects how businesses source packaging made to order. The design aims to make requirements easier to reuse, supplier offers easier to compare, and production decisions easier to follow. Flexible purchasing terms and visibility across deliveries support the needs of both buyers and suppliers.
CHALLENGE
Complex Packaging Requirements
Buyers need to communicate material and print requirements clearly, then compare supplier offers against the same packaging brief.
Production and Delivery Coordination
Samples and print proofs need buyer feedback before production. Large purchases may also need to arrive in several planned deliveries.
B2B Commercial Requirements
Purchasing terms vary across supplier relationships. Buyers and merchants need visibility of credit, payments and settlement throughout the order journey.
Solutions
We brought together every step of the packaging procurement process into one seamless platform, making it easier for buyers, suppliers and operations teams to work together.
