Kemana officially launches Kshipper, an easy to use cloud-based Shipping Software Solution.

Jakarta, Indonesia, August 1, 2017 – Kemana, a leading Ecommerce solutions company in Asia, today announced the launch of Kshipper. As a free cloud-based software solution, Kshipper provides shipping automation tools for businesses in addition to discounted shipping rates.

Working in partnership with JNE, Kemana designed and developed the fully integrated system with the intention of taking the first major steps in solving the complex logistic and shipping challenges faced by small and medium sized businesses within the region.

The innovative technology solution provides businesses the ability to:

Create Shipping Orders and receive instant AWB numbers

Print labels with bar codes fast and easily

Request order pickups when they are ready to ship

Monitor and track all active shipments with ease

Receive discounts on all shipments

“When we look at the challenges facing small and medium sized businesses in the region, logistics is often top of the list,” said Christopher Benz, CEO, Kemana. “For merchants, the incredible growth of Ecommerce in Asia brings with it difficulties in managing scalability, and as a result the automation of internal systems becomes critical.”

This Kshipper Version 1.0 launch currently provides solutions for the Indonesian market through its partnership with JNE, with plans to roll out the system to other markets regionally.

“Indonesia’s Ecommerce growth, in terms of both customer adoption and order volume over the next five years will be tremendous. However cross border trade, as seen in the US, Europe and China, will be the next big market segment for merchants to enter,” said Christopher Benz, CEO, Kemana. “There is a pressing need for integrated technology solutions to handle complex International order fulfilment issues.”

Kshipper currently integrates with Magento, the world’s leading Ecommerce platform. The Kshipper team are now building integrations with various marketplaces including Lazada, eBay and Amazon, as well as, other Ecommerce platforms including Shopify and Open Cart.

“Merchants in Indonesia currently have to manage product listings and orders on multiple platforms manually. As one merchant recently explained, since January their business has doubled sales, but also had to more than double their head count to handle it. They know it is cost prohibitive and not sustainable,” said Christopher Benz, CEO, Kemana. “Having worked closely over many years with small and medium sized merchants in different capacities, our team understand the issues merchants face daily and have taken the first major step in developing solutions to solve them.”
